For the average 4" slab we use the figure of 81 feet squared = 1 yard when
we pour so 8X10 is about 1 yard

Thanks to you all for your answers on the weight of concrete. I am looking
at 
taking down two metal building. We have to get rid of the concrete and I was

trying to figure out how much weight it was. one building is 63'X49'and the 
other is 30'X66'. Just looking for ball figures of weight. We get the
buildings 
for free.
