Subject: [TheForge] RE: Newsletter editor stuff

Thanks to all of you for the information and advice.

I've sent LeeAnn a letter. Is there anything else I need to do to get on the
newsletter exchange list? I seemed to remember a post on that but can't
find it in the stuff I've saved. The confusion has started, I picked up all
the editor stuff from Ned on Thursday and now I remember why I never liked
MACs. Maybe as a regular user I'll get it organized to where it makes sence
to me. Right now it's just a shotgun blast of information with no apparent
order. Ned says the system didn't come with any documentation. I find that
hard to believe there should have been at least a pamplet on how to hook
everything together and get into the online help. Online help is ok as a
supliment to printed manuals but is no substitute for them in my opinion.

We do have one member that makes it to most of the meeting and takes a lot
of pictures, that he then sends to the editor on CD. That should be helpful
since I'm the type that will cary a camera and forget to take pictures. I do
take pretty good notes on demonstrations, though my sketches are a bit
cryptic.
