Orange smoke?  Hmmm...  Bright colors mean "active" electrons, which may
mean reactive or toxic chemicals.  I don't know why the orange color,
though.  Maybe nitric oxide?  Does it leave an orange powder behind?

Second is an oxy lance's ability to burn virtually anything, so you
can
easily cut non-ferrous for salvage. If you don't mind the risk you can
use
an oxy lance to pierce virtually anything, say drill a hole in a
boulder. I
don't suggest anybody try using an oxy lance to drill rock, the
probability
of a violent explosion as the rock superheats would make the advantages
of
renting a proper drill or hiring it out pretty obvious.

Burning concrete produces VIVID orange smoke. <grin>
