	Not much of an answer in terms of chemical science, though.

	Direct experience can be hard to argue with, but Terry does
	pose a legitimate question as to the chemistry.  If indeed
	the "established" chemistry contradicts real world experience,
	then either the observations are wrong or extablished chemical
	knowledge is wrong.  I don't see how they can both be right.
