Vernon,
I haven't seen a reply on this so I looked it up. This anvil is probably a
TRENTON made by the Columbus Forge and Iron Works, Columbus Ohio.

According to the SN it was in 1911.

Would someone answer Mr. Vernon Red at knivesvr at conwaycorp.net
He is NOT on theforge but I am sure that some of you are knowledgeable about
anvils.
This has to be a TRENTON / TRENTEN anvil but that's all I know about it.
thanks,

Subject: Anvil

Leeann
I recently purchased an anvil to help in forging Damascus steel. The name on
hte anvil is TRENT or TRENT-- (looks like there were additional letters. The
name is inside a Diamond. It has 2 sets of numbers 154 which I took as the
weight and the #105660. Can you tell me anything about this anvil or where I
can get Information.Would like to know how old and what kind of steel.
Thanks Vernon
