Dear all,
I have attached fiber refractory to large flat kiln roof surfaces
successfully for years by using porcelain "buttons", tied to an expanded
metal enclosure with stainless wire.
The "buttons" have a stem kinda like a golf tee, with a hole through the
stem for the wire, so the wire is buried in the wool.
doesn't fall down, last for years. easy to fix. Not sure about ultimate temp
rating, I know it works well to cone 10.
