That little tune brought back some fond memories....

My father was one of a long line of Bavarian hops farmers. He, however, =
emigrated to the US to become a teacher of political philosophy. In =
1968 we moved to a dry county in Mississippi. Needless to to say, "dry =
county" was incomprehensible to my father. So he decided to brew his =
own "nourishment" in our storage room. In the middle of a hot =
Mississippi night we were awaken by loud bangs. I think our very nice =
Mormon neighbors were mortified that some locals might be shooting at =
the Germans. My father immediately knew better, calmed everyone and =
then tried to figure out a way to get into the storage room without =
being attacked. That was his last attempt at brewing beer in a dry =
county.  =20

Still humored by the whole event....Bettina

  Y'all got me to thinking about a song I used to sing fairly =
frequently, but
  it's been a;most 30 years, and I couldn't remember all the words.

  Got reminded to Google it, and here it is. I'm also sending it along =
to
  TheForge and EK Brewers, so enjoy. Might practice it, for next =
Pennsic...
