That's one sweet looking forge Larry.
I have to agree with Dave on the door though. I don't much care for swinging
doors on a forge. From my experience they tend to cook you with hot
refractory if opened at heat.
The "fix" (IMHO) is to use double swing arms instead of hinges, they keep
the refractory side of the doors facing the forge instead of aiming it at
you. Counter weights or springs and a friction locking screw/nut will let
you place the door in any position quickly and easily. I've found sliding
doors tend to warp and become hard to move after a while though I'm sure a
little tweeking would solve the problem.
