Grant,
I think that the square body is the way to go, the widest part of a round
forge is in the middle not the bottom. You are kind of limited to what you
can put in it. There are no cold spots in this forge so this is not a
problem either. This forge should be very efficient with the better
insulation 20# density vs. 8# density, plus the Plistix helps a lot too.
