i do blacksmithing/metalwork full-time and probably average 60 hrs/wk. 
in the shop. by the time i get home and kiss the dog, bite the wife, 
appease the kids, shower, eat dinner and read the paper, there's really 
not much energy remaining  for the forge list.  so i lurk, and 
occasionally respond. i imagine this scenario is not too dissimilar from 
a lot of  folks. i really enjoy the list and appreciate the efforts of 
those who participate on a regular basis. i think the exchange and 
sharing of information in the blacksmithing community is nothing short 
of spectacular. kudos to those who make a greater effort than i do to 
participate.
