analog is pretty much not made anymore, except in the field of audio- 
because the human ear can tell the difference. Or at least some human 
ears say they can.
I had a guy working for me for a while who built his own analog 
synthesizers- sure, you can buy a digital one for a couple of hundred 
bucks, but it turns out there is a whole subculture of people building 
analog synths based on original Moog, Arp, and other old circuits.

Same with guitar amps- a few pricey boutique companies still make tube 
amps.

And home stereo as well- the higher the price, the more likely it will 
be analog.
