[TheForge] Stainless annealing question

Jeff, is your pot magnetic cold? Some ss inn't

Does it have to be heated to non magnetic?  I was able to get it only to a
good purple with a little mapp torch and was hoping that might work.  I'm
also hoping my retirement fund has taken a big jump in value.
