I use straight argon for almost all my tig welding.
DC, electrode negative works fine for tig brazing. Its really easy, you just
dont give it as much heat as when you weld, and you heat the base metal
first with the torch, then add silicon bronze filler rod just like when you
are gas welding with a torch.
I took a metalshaping course with Ron Fournier once, and he uses AC, and
that works well also. Try em both.
