Plastilina, is another name for it. An oil and very fine sand mixture that is available in various colors and stiffness. Many sculptors will make their own. It is colored with mortar colors and the stiffness varies with how much oil you use sometimes plaster of paris is used as the base rather than sand or a mixture of the two. Jim
