[TheForge] OT: Generators

We have a 4KW 8HP portable.  I can't lift it but I can wrassle it into
my pickup singlehanded.  Since we heat with wood and have a hand pump
for water, the only thing we really need backup power for is the
freezers.  I just poke a cable through a hole and plug them in for an
hour every so often.  We also have a little 1500W surplus generator
that I can run power tools or shop lights on but it doesn't have
enough gumpties to start my ca. 1970 fridge.  (And I have manual
blower backup for the forge. :-)

Oh, I suppose that after a few days I might have internet withdrawal
and *need* a few watts for a computer. :-)
