DVD may not be the answer as I am finding out.  I am converting the UMBA
library to DVD but am having problems finding a player that will
consistently play them.
There are minus R and Plus R DVDs but that does not mean  a -R player will
play all -R disks.
My parents machine and Bob Fredell's play fine.  I bought a Sony that is
supposed to play both last night but have not opened the box yet.  My burner
is a sony 510A that was supposed to burn at 4X but with 4X disks you have to
install firmware that makes it burn only at 1X.  Talk about another Sony
rip-off, I used to own a Beta player and up until the minute they dropped
them they were the best according to there advertising.
Almost have my tapes converted then will start the tapes donated by Will S.
Hope to have the UMBA library back up by 2004
