For 1006 or 1008 try

Most of it will likely be round bar or flat strip.  Be prepared to buy quite
a bit.  (You may want to share with friends).  I think you will find the
1008 in more sizes etc. than the 1006.  Not much difference for our uses.
Material is used for nail manufacture, deep drawing applications and cold
forming.  To quote Engineering Properties of Steel by ASM    "1005,1006,1008
are mild steels of low strength and high ductility which are easy to forge
or form and draw cold. ..... weldability (spot, projection, butt, and
fusion) and brazeability are excellent."
