I'm on my 2nd ESAB 875 I, I love using it.
About 6 months ago it was giving me problems with the air arc start.
I called my local dealer , he had the ESAB rep check it out.
The problem was that my son had cut back the compressed air pressure.
The rep also gave the interior a thorough cleaning because it was full of
metal and abrasive dust from my grinders. Cost $0.
My only bitch is that it isn't a larger unit.
I'd love to be able to cut about 1 1/2" with it.
I've heard several folks on this list bad mouth ESAB but I've had excellent
results with their welders and Plasma cutters.
I do buy almost all my consumables from ZAP Plasma Therm because they work
well and are quite a bit less expensive.
