Bill,
Thanks for this. No time to "digest" it right now, but I'll have it
with me tomorrow.

Bruce,
I'm not sure whether you need this info but ..... Since you are going

to be in Rittenhouse Square area, there are a couple of pay parking
lots at 20th & Walnut. If you walk to 15th & Chestnut and need to
return on foot walk south on 15th to Walnut west to (almost on corner)

Striped Bass restaurant to see local smith Bob Phillip's fish on
facade
and larger piece inside. Also continuing west on Walnut to Brasserie
Perrier, just inside is a forged panel by PA smith Greg Levitt.( this
piece can be seen from window). If you are going to do some driving,
Albert Paley's "Synergy" a large fabricated piece is on 18th St. just
south of Spring Garden. Into west Philly are Yellin gates at
University
of PA Museum( just west of South St bridge, Spruce at 34th or so).
Also
as Claire mentioned there are 7 beautiful large drawings at The Inn at

Penn (between 36 & 37th on Samson St.) Major added bonus at the Inn is

an incredible collection of bronze sculpture and plaques etc. by
R.Tait
McKenzie and Joe Brown. Sports themed stuff. Also closer to the
Museum
gates is the University of PA Library ( 34th St. between Walnut and
Spruce St.) This is an incredible Frank Furness building which has
some
great ironwork inside. Look for the copper clad spiral staircase.
Also,
an AIA bookshop back in the Rittenhouse Square area at 17th and Samson

St.(they carry Skipjack Press). Hope this didn't muddy the water. I
have found anything included here to be worthwhile to visit with the
possible exception of the Paley piece. ( I love alot of his work but
this one just doesn't do much for me for what that's worth) Anyway,
enjoy your tour and please let me know if you plan another trip since I

may be able to make it next time.

Cheers,
Bill Woolley
