[TheForge] Platten table hammer in clamps?

I have been pondering the same issue with my platen table, and the approach I have been considering, is double wedges, like you would use to lock in power hammer dies.
I have been using pipe clamps, etc., with limited success. I guess counter to the blacksmith credo of make versus buy it we could break down and buy some of the really cool platen table tooling that both Acorn and Weldsale have on their web sites.
