[TheForge] Mark I D on a hammer

Hello wise ones
      I picked up a couple of hammers today that have a mark which is a 
letter G inside a triangle.Does anyone know of this maker?One of the 
hammers, a nice peen sledge, will be part of a  treadle hammer i havent had
