Sam,

Ace Salvage charges me 10 cents a pound.  I'm assuming they charge everyone
that, but perhaps I'm a favorite customer.  I get a receipt though.
They're located 1 1/2 miles west of the I-10 hwy 90 intersection half way to
Quincy, west of Tallahassee about 12 miles by my guess.

Are you located in the Tallahassee area, Sam?

Today my dog and I went to the big junkyard and they charged me a bit over
16 cents a pound.  I saw at least a half dozen large chunks of steel that
could have served as a make shift anvil.  It was all I could do to keep from
buying a few of them.
