OK, I thought that was peculiar to Georgia. Same thing ( w/o the caricature)
happened to me.
" Is this old..... ".

Another good one:
We sometimes do the trick w/ school kids,  "See how hot this is . If you
give me a quarter,
I'll lick it." "Who has a quarter?"
Some kid will bite and rush up with his lunch money! With which I pretend to
put my tongue to and put in my pocket( the quarter).
Roars from the class.
Then I give the kid a handshake( deftly palming the quarter, returning it
rightfully ).

WELL.... you've all had the heckler  ( different demo show) 'My granddaddy
was a B/S and he didn't do it that way.' she was extreamely obnoxious
and anoying to me and the audience.   Well, the same speil for the kids, and
she pops up and screams," I've got a dollar to see that". YES MAM, STEP
RIGHT UP.
The look  as the audience roared was priceless.    BTW, did'nt palm dollar.
