The main thing I've found with working square tube is to center the hammer
over the edges. If you hammer in the center, it just collapses,I've found,
but hammering down at the corners you can upset the edges until the sides
meet and weld together.I work it hot, myself. Unlike when upsetting a bar,
I use a lighter hammer with more blows, to keep from crushing the tube.
Work it down gradually.
