Thanks for all the replies- the reason I aimed it at George is that he said
that packing the tube with sand gave it just enough resistance that it
looked like less like tube and more like solid stock, and that they did that
at Yellin's.
I want to start with about 4" tube, but usually when I forge tube it looks
like forged tube- seems to retain the rounded corners- and I want crisper
corners like with forged solid.
