[TheForge] Plans for a "Samuel Yellin" tour of(downtown)Philadelphia

Sara and I will be going. That's what we'd planned originally, and I
only opened it up, with her agreement, when it looked like there was
going to be more interest.

Meanwhile, I received Magaziner's book, "The Golden Age of Iron."
It's a beautiful, excellent book. It is not, however, a tour guide of
Yellin's Philadelphia ironwork. It has perhaps a dozen examples of
Yellin's (Philadelphia ) work, as well as a lot of micellaneous ironwork
by others.

My immediate plans are to locate the sites on a map of downtown
Philadelphia, and see what's feasible in terms of visiting those.

It looks like a separate trip to Bryn Mawr and Valley Forge might be in
order. Not this trip!

Mark,
As of your email, we've got 2.8 people going, including Sara and me.
Looks like a fizzle as a "group" tour.
Bruce

Ok...Will you be doing the tour regardless? If it is an intimate
gathering I
guess that is fine as well...Less people to keep track of.

Take Care
Mark
