Rick,
Sounds like we'll be doing about the same thing about the same time. I
am buying Jack's book, which should help locate Yellin's work, and plan
to visit Philly on 10/25. My plans are still sufficiently uncertain
that I cannot yet plan to get together with you or anyone else from
theforge. (I certainly would like to do that sometime in the future,
however.)
Did you catch the Philadelphia Inquirer article? if not, check the
link from the ABANA.org home page. It mentions a museum show of
Yellin's "monsters," that sounds like it's worth seeing.

Rick,
The book "Golden Age of Ironwork," along with the other Skipjack books,
is available 24/7 at the web site listed below in my signature.
Shipment is by UPS and you can get any delivery you like.
The index is all of the work in Magaziner's book. This index lists all
of the important wrought and cast iron work in Philadelphia.
