That is a very interesting web page.   I think her name "Rocio" means 
something like Morning Dew.   A young blond haired Mexican Blacksmith! Que

The City of Monterrey is in the State of  Nueve Leon,  but I think that the 
City of Leon is probably in the State of Guanajuato, perhaps 400 miles 
further South... anyway a lot further South. The Leon that I am thinking of 
is  perhaps 200 miles North-West of Mexico City. 

33 years ago, I spent a summer living  with a medical doctor and his family 
in the town of San Miguel de Allende.  As I recall, Dr. Mendoza was a native 
of Leon, which wasn't so far from San Miguel. The City of Guanajuato was an 
old mining town, with lots of things to see. 

Sorry, but I didn't have any luck trying to find Mexican maps on the web 
just now.
