hello;

being rather late at night, huck, the dog, decided
he needed one last stroll around the house. he thought
he saw the grandpa cat, finsternau, who is black and white.
what huck found was a different black and white 'kitty'.
this 'kitty' did not like huck's playfulness, it sprayed.
not having any of the suggested odor removers in the house,
i decided this called for unusual methods, goop hand cleaner.
taking the goop hand cleaner tub in one hand and dragging huck
with the good hand toward the bathroom, the noise woke up,
*the wife*. i just blurted out "don't ask", and proceeded
into the bathroom. huck, the dog, must have decided that a bath
was better than smelling so bad. after spreading about a 1/4
of the goop container on him, i worked it around without any
water. after about 10 minutes of hand scrubbing i turned the
shower on to rinse him off. now huck is soaked with goop and
water combined. rubbed some more, rinse some more. time to
get him to shake, which he would not do will in the shower
he waited till he jumped out of the shower. anyway, the
skunk odor is nearly gone, what is left is really faint.
i have absolutely no idea why it worked. i figured it was
a long shot. anyway, huck, is sleeping on the floor next to
me as i type this.
desperate times call for desperate measures. ;-)
