Mike- I am assuming you are just talking about the drill bits
themselves? Usually when core drilling, the tool you use is like a
cross between a mag drill and a rotohammer- a little cart with a drill
mounted on it, that you can move up and down with a handle like on a
mag drill. They cost a fortune, and I have always just hired it done,
by someone who does it professionally. Most good rental shops will rent
them, and that means they will sell you replacement drill bits, but
rental shops are always pricey for parts and consumables.
A good place to start looking for bits if you want to buy them is
Dynamic Fastener. They started out as a supply house for guys who build
metal buildings, but they have really good prices on all sorts of hand
and power tools, rivets and anchor bolts, safety gear, etc.
Core bits from a couple of different brands, 50 bucks for a 1"
diameter, 500 bucks for a 12"
Dynamic Fastener- 800-821-5448

cheapest place I have ever found for vise grips, as well.
