[TheForge] anvil winner announced?

Bob, thanks for posting the winning number from the Voter Incentive Program
to TheForge.
ABANA makes a very small donation of $100 / year to qth.net , the service
that hosts TheForge
and about 1,000 other non-profit e-mail lists.  The Forge has 359 members
(as of Oct.1) but
I am not sure of how many of them are from the 5000+ ABANA members. It would
be interesting to find out.
The ABANA web site www.abana.org had almost 6,000,000 (six million) hits
last year. That is
"THE" place to find official news about anything ABANA is doing.
As far as ABANA posting news here, I don't think that we want any "official"
ABANA influence
on TheForge, do you? As far as I know, I am the only ABANA board member that
subscribes
to this list and I don't do it for that reason. I have been on TheForge
since it's first week in existence.
There is a life for me before and after ABANA. I find myself in the position
of wearing several
hats at once sometimes. Board member, ABANA member, affiliate member,
newsletter editor,
blacksmith, husband-father-grandpa, and not necessarily in that order. Sorry
for my oversight of not
posting the winning number here I got busy and forgot. Good thing I don't
get paid to do this.
Did anyone from TheForge win? I sure hope so.
