I have read a story about a village blacksmith that has a horseshoe forging
competition with another blacksmith that is passing through town. This story
appears to perhaps be the background behind the Norman Rockwell painting of
The Horseshoe Forging Contest. I am trying to find that story once again but
since I do not know the author nor the correct title I have had no luck. Can
anyone help me out with finding this again?
