[TheForge] C frame press

I went to the NWBA Fall Conf and saw/listened to Paul Thorne's press 
demo....more listen as he did not demo much, which was a dissapointment 
as that was one of the reasons for going. Having never met/seen PT, I 
found that  I liked him, his attitude, and really want to see how, with 
his tooling, he developes his work. Maybe a trip to his shop 
sometime.... I did however closely inspect his press and came away with 
the idea of building a better mouse trap, which made the trip 
worthwhile. Unfortunately the cylinder I accquired is probably too large 
for the C frame press I had in mind. So, my thought is to build an H 
frame for the 8" cylinder and keep the power pack separate.
In the future, a smaller C frame for hot work with a 4-5" cylinder is a 
definate possibility.
