That's all I use to date.  The wax doesn't help much in the way of
protection but it gives the patina I want.  Once a year, I just do a light
wire brushing and apply linseed oil full strength and wipe off the excess
with a non lint-making cloth and let dry.  If its too shiny reapply your
favorite wax.
