I got the same type from PayPal a couple of weeks ago. Contacted PayPal and
they asked me to forward the message to them so they could try to find out
who is responsible.

Subject: [TheForge] Fw: Ebay scam
Lets try this again
I just got an scam email that looked very real. The link says I need to go
to EBAY's website or I will be cut off by clicking on the below link (I
tried to remove the hyperlink, but just in case don't go there) Embedded
inside is a link that takes you to a website that only has the numerical IP
address. So you can't tell if it is ebay or not.
When you get there, they ask for every piece of valuable info they can think
of including you pin number, SSAN and mothers maiden name.
Very sneeky!
Don't click on it
