If what you're looking for is 2" cross section there's this. Go to a steel 
supplier that also buys out machine shops. I got a peice of heat treated 
4140 1 3/4"X1 3/4" X 17" for about $20. They also had much larger drops 
both round and square (stock size not length). Many places that supply 
machine shops will have all sorts of interesting things in 
steel,brass,bronze,copper and Al..
