	And even they are not immune.  The worst thing I've 	
	seen done is someone bearing down on the screw for
	all he's worth.  I've been guilty of this a few times
	myself, usually absent-mindedly.  One day Peter Ross
	caught me at it... he just looked at me with an
	expression of muted horror and disgust.  He pointed out
	that I knew better than that.  I was very mindful
	of my actions from that point onward.  Nothing worse
	than being quietly dressed down by the master.  Boo
	hooty hoo.

	I've never seen a vise broken, but I've seen them get
	kinda bent up a bit with the jaws all out of whack.
