Don't pass up a chance to see Fiorine build Damascus billets! That was one
of the most educational and memorable demos I've ever seen. He welded in a
gas forge, of course, but the little things he did and said and the
combination of welding on the anvil and in a press, not to mention his
stories and the video of Japanese sword makers,and the examples of his past
work, made it a most memorable weekend (Fall NWBA conference 2 yrs ago)
