Jerry,

You might just be on to something.  While in college in Bellingham, WA, I
lived with some rock/mountain climber types (not me).  One fellow mentioned
that he was in a cafe in Nepal several days hike in from any vehicle type
roads.  There was a mural that covered a whole wall of the cafe.  It was of
Mt. Shuksan, just 30-40 miles outside of Bellingham near Mt. Baker.  What a
hoot!
