Steve, Very nice. Congradulations.......two years coming must be nice to
have it running.
I see the ID of the ram is trued..........and how about that bronze busing
in the bottom. That is the air cushion and damper correct? Did you braze
and recut that, or press in a new bushing and fit it?
Hadn't seen a once piece 3B either. Mine is definitely an oldie with serial
number 24. I thought the older ones might be one piece. Does this ram have
four, six, or eight sides to it? Is it a Beeche hammer series?, Nazel?. or
Lobdell/Nazel? Mine has the Beeche insignia on the ID tag and is serial
number 24.........and I know it was placed in service in 1910 at a train
repair facility in Boston.
