[TheForge] chinese shoes

I've been wearing Mason shoes for a long time (I'm a dealer). The 
mailman brings them right to my house. Style 591 11-1/2 EE feels good 
right out of the box. The new pair is for going to town and the old 
pair is for going to the shop.

Now I see that Mason Shoes is closing down the shoe factory in Chippewa 
Falls, Wisconsin and sending the work (and some of the machines) to 
China. They will still sell shoes but the shoes will be made in China 
(I wonder if the price will come down?).

The phone ladies will still be over in Chippewa Falls...for now anyway. 
No reason they can't teach Chinese ladies to take shoe orders. Well I 
guess they have to eat too...

When will this end? I suppose when everyone is making $3 per hour....
