[TheForge] Shortcut Sword?

I was afraid things might take this turn :'{)
He's not got that rampaging personality most 7 year old have ( and I had).
He's safe with tools, you should see him with a die grinder on wood.
This is about the Lord of the Rings and I expect him to carry it around the
yard a few times a week and maybe whack at a stump a bit. This about is
what he does with his bow & arrow my wife made.
There are 3 neighbors and no kids within a 1/2 mile, and he won't chop up
the pets.
I think the aluminum or light gauge is probably the best direction here. I
hate aluminum but it should be considered.
Funny how strength expectations can be distorted when you can't wait for
your kid to get just a bit bigger.
