	Just for future reference, be cognizant of the fact that
	maple is a VERY weak wood in all cases except rock varieties.
	Sugar and swamp maples are woods that will seem very strong
	and mighty indeed, until you cross the extremely narrow
	failure threshold.  Those varieties just go very suddenly
	<SNAP>.  It's not like oak, for instance, that will creak
	and groan a whole lot in warning before failing.  You hear
	nothing but the CRAAAACK and of course by then it's done.

	Having a (your?) sailboat fall out of a tree is probably
	anything but a pretty sight.

	Who was hanging a boat from a maple tree?  And why?
