Very cool project, Mike. The hammer appears to be in rather
good condition, especially considering it sat out and full
	of water for years.

As for lube, would a positive pressure affair be desirable?
I was thinking if you would gun drill the crank with a small
oil gallery and feed oil through the crank to the bearing,
you would have a great oiling system. Two advantages of this
configuration are very even oil pressure and film at the
bearing through out the stroke, and with a constant flow of
oil away from the bearing, nothing undesirable is likely
to ever get into it again. This is the way in which Porsche
lubricated the crankshafts on the 917. It allowed the
comparatively large 5+ liter engine to turn better than
10K revolutions without problems. That's very fast for an
engine of that large a displacement.

It's probably too much work to justify the expense and
trouble, but I thought I'd throw it out just for kicks.
