Ok I agree with all the points on Junkyard wars, but technically a mig
welder could be called a semi automatic soldering gun........
Solder means to be united or become repaired. It is only recently that we
have added the definition that soldering is a dissimilar metal joining
project using softer joining materials than the parent material.
I mean after all the brits like to be stuck in the 15th century meaning of
words, and us NEWBIES to the English language cause so much disruption and
misuse of their nice words....
