Generally, i find I'm most comfortable with a handle just large enough
that my wrapped fingers don't touch my hand coming round full circle.
I tend to like a larger diameter handle than most folks, on small to
medium sized hammers because of the extra control it affords. Padding
seems to make moving one's grip quickly more difficult........Pete
