This is the problem with A-36's performance spec as opposed to 1018 HR's
alloy spec.
As long as A-36 performs within spec. it doesn't matter what's in it so
you're bound to run into hot short A-36 every now and then as well as almost
any other known glitch. . . . that's within A-36 specs.
Grab another piece and if it happens again, from a different bar or even
batch.
