Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.
I thought the larger holes would be handy for sinking, and I figured some of
them would be handy for rough bends.
I hadn't thought of using it for straightening sheet metal, which is an
excellent idea, and I had pretty much dismissed the idea of using it for
tenons, primarily since I have never worked any metal large enough to require
tenons that large.

The larger holes in a swage block can be used for sinking, straightening
sheet metal, as a monkey tool for large tenons (the tenoned end is
driven into the swage block hole) and for quick, rough bends.
