So basically you are looking for an online course catalog.
Nice idea, but there are a few questions. For instance,
who administers this catalog? ABANA? Fine by me but I
guess then the question of how it gets paid for arises.
Subsumed by member dues? Given what I have seen happen in
the past regarding the ways in which ABANA spends its money,
I'm not sure that avenue would be met with universal
acceptance, but I may be wrong.
One thing ABANA could do, but again how is it paid for, is
to have schools register with them, perhaps pay a small
annual fee, and build in a mechanism by which they can
either build their own catalog pages on the ABANA site
or simply transfer the data there where they would be taken
into a database that in turn could be searched by prospective
students. This way, the costs are borne by the schools
and would be minimal, would provide smiths with a central
search point and schools with a central marketing point.
We could get even fancier, but I'll not rube it up unless
it's called for.
