Dave,

We put together a press using the technical info in Batson's book to match
the cylinder, motor, pump, and valve.  We used an old pinch press frame
which had really geat ram guides, this made the project much easier. We
copied the die mount system from another knife guy (Corbin Newcome), they
slide into place in seconds so there is never an excuse for having the wrong
dies in.

 My son uses it mainely for making damascus and it works great for that.
